Divine Communion
In our morning meeting the band played “Divine Communion” whilst playing it the words associated with one of the melodies went through my mind and they were highlighted after the band had finished.
They’ve been going round in my head all day and I share them below:
All there is of me Lord,
All there is of me.
Time and talent day by day
All I bring to Thee.
All there is of me Lord,
All there is of me -
On Thy altar here I lay
All there is me.
The High Council of the Salvation Army has now gathered to start electing a new leader, the official welcome is tomorrow.
Although I’ve attended the Army all my life and always took an interest in the High Council I found the article by General John Gowans (ret) a fascinating read.
I’ll be following the events over the next week or so with great interest.
Actually had this conversation at work this afternoon when discussing the Kindle. I really don’t get the fuss about them, I struggle to read documents, books etc on screen and often revert to printing them and then reading.

Reading is a huge part of my life, so this is very appropriate for my first post on tumblr. I do have a digital reader which is very handy and useful, but there’s still nothing like having a ‘real’ book in my hands.
Had fun today trying to enable remote desktop on a PC at a different site that has no IT staff. I found the article eventually and it contained some very useful information and allowed me to solve the issue. PSExec to the rescue once more.
Pretty phenomenal statistics, upgrade has been fantastic, love it.
Words With Friends - enjoyed this game!!
Very interesting post from John Ager
Found this on Thomas Mathie’s blog and loved it and felt it was worth of my first tumblr post as he was one of the people who convinced me I needed tumblr in my life.
